Design, installation and support solutions
for IT-centric AV applications

Your network is only as good as the tools that use it.  ATG offers three AV "power tools" well suited to break through today's communications barriers.

Digital Signage

DIGITAL SIGNAGE

What it is:
A set of messages on continuous display to a targeted audience. Captures the attention and informs people who are waiting, passing by, or performing some task.

Content includes:

Any combination of text, graphics, still images, audio, or video (live or stored files).

Key applications:

Advertising, lobby displays, safety notices, personnel policy displays, interactive kiosks, corporate announcements, point-of-sale, and retail.

Digital signage is fast becoming the medium of choice to post notices, ads, announcements, policies, and other information for public display. Digital signs can be updated remotely and more frequently than conventional signs. Digital signs are also more engaging because they can combine text with other kinds of media such as live or recorded video, audio, and animated graphics. You can also schedule content to update or change at a specific time.

PowerPoint® can’t do that!

Streaming Video

STREAMING VIDEO

What it is:
Live or recorded programs carried over a network (private or the Internet) to audiences who have selected to watch.

Content includes:

MPEG-2, MPEG-4, or Windows Media — depending on network bandwidth and application.

Key applications:

Training, education, video on demand, command and control, telemedicine, employee communications, and video trunking.

Companies and educational institutions alike use low-cost streaming solutions to capture, deliver, and store video content over local area networks and the Internet. Just like on TVs at home, viewers can select content — both live and recorded — from onscreen program guides. They can then watch this content on TV monitors (as a group in a conference room, for example) or individually on desktop PCs. Depending on network bandwidth, video quality can range all the way up to widescreen HDTV for maximum message impact.

Rich Media

RICH MEDIA

What it is:
Live or recorded programs typically carried over the Internet or Intranet that usually employ a blend of media in concert with each other.

Content includes:

Windows Media video and audio with or without a slide presentation including text, graphics, and still images. May include inter active elements like polling and Q&A.

Key applications:

Distance learning, product demonstrations, customer support, and corporate communications.

If you want to combine different kinds of media in your presentations (like video and high-resolution graphics) or if you want to distribute full-motion video at lowest cost over the Internet, then you should consider rich media. It’s ideal for broadcast ing a live meeting, to let students review a lecture offline, or to provide a rich distance learning experience. With rich media, no pre- or post-production is required. Simply capture your presentation live as it’s given (both video and slides). Then stream it live or on-demand over the Internet or your private network. You can also manage audio, video, high-resolution images, and web HTML as a single integrated package. That allows you to get your AV done faster with less hassle.
